1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Artisa Platform, which is designed exclusively for music artists, recording artists, bands, music labels, artist management companies, and similar music industry professionals. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from the Platform.

2.1 Account Information
When you register for the Platform, we collect:
- Name and artist or professional name;
- Email address;
- Password (stored in hashed form — we never store plaintext passwords);
- Profile information you choose to provide.
2.2 Payment Information
We use a third-party payment processor to handle all payment transactions. We do not collect or store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment card data. Our payment processor collects and processes payment information directly in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We receive and store limited payment-related information from our payment processor, such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, expiration date, billing name, and billing address, solely for account management and record-keeping purposes.
2.3 Audio Content and Track Data
When you upload audio content to the Platform, we collect and process:
- Audio files you upload;
- Track metadata you provide (e.g., track name, BPM, energy level, style preferences);
- Technical data generated during processing (e.g., audio analysis data used to generate video content).
Audio content is processed solely for the purpose of generating video content as requested by you. We do not use your audio content to train or improve AI models, and we do not license your audio content to third parties except as technically necessary to operate the Platform.
2.4 Usage and Technical Data
We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Platform:
- Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, referring URLs);
- Device information (device type, operating system);
- Job and generation history (records of your video generation requests and their status).
2.5 Communications
If you contact us by email or other means, we retain records of that correspondence, including the content of your messages and your contact information.
2.6 What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Data about end viewers of video content you generate and publish on third-party platforms;
- Sensitive personal data such as government identification numbers, health information, or biometric data;
- Personal data from minors under 18 years of age (the Platform is not directed at minors).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account;
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Platform;
- To process your audio content and generate video content as requested;
- To process payments and manage billing;
- To send you transactional communications (e.g., account confirmation, payment receipts, job completion notifications);
- To send you Platform updates, feature announcements, and marketing communications (you may opt out at any time);
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, abuse, and violations of this Policy or our Terms of Service;
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your audio content or generated video content to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning model.
4. Disclosure of Your Information
4.1 Service Providers
We share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform, subject to confidentiality obligations and restrictions on use consistent with this Privacy Policy. These service providers fall into the following categories:
- Payment processors — to handle subscription billing and payment transactions;
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers — to host and operate the Platform's frontend and backend services;
- Database and authentication services — to store user account data and manage secure login;
- AI content generation services — to process audio and generate video content on your behalf (audio content is transmitted to these services solely for content generation purposes and is not retained by them for training or other purposes beyond what is technically necessary).
A current list of our third-party service providers is available upon request by contacting help@artisastudios.com.
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Artisa, our users, or the public.
4.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and any material changes to this Privacy Policy.
4.4 Marketing Use of Generated Content
As described in our Terms of Service, we may use samples of your generated video content to market and promote the Artisa Platform. Such use will always be attributed to you. You may opt out of this marketing use at any time by contacting help@artisastudios.com.
4.5 No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and track data for as long as your account is active. If you terminate your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within ninety (90) days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (such as tax records or dispute resolution).
Audio files uploaded to the Platform may be subject to shorter retention periods consistent with our storage architecture and the temporary nature of certain third-party hosting services used in the generation pipeline.
6. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (TLS), hashed password storage, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Correction
You may access and update your account information at any time through your account settings. If you are unable to correct information through the Platform, you may contact us at help@artisastudios.com to request a correction.

7.4 California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, contact help@artisastudios.com.
7.5 EEA, UK, and Swiss Users (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or applicable local law, including the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing. Our lawful basis for processing your personal data is primarily the performance of a contract with you and our legitimate business interests. To exercise your rights, contact help@artisastudios.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Platform at least fourteen (14) days before the changes take effect.
